On Thursday, November 10, 2016, at a central hotel in Athens, IKY organized a Conference on the management of the 2016 approved projects for the key action “Strategic Partnerships KA2” for all sectors of Education and Training of the Erasmus+ programme.
Beneficiaries were thoroughly briefed for the technical aspects of their projects, by executives of the National Agency. They also had the opportunity to listen to detailed advice and methodological approved practices.
Initially, the Director of the Directorate for Special Programmes International Scholarships Maria Nikitaki welcomed the participants, illustrated the overall framework of the meeting and introduced beneficiaries to the basic principles of the Erasmus+ programme. Dr. Eirini Ntroutsa, Head of the Department of European Programmes, followed, discussing the quality management of a Strategic Partnership.
IKY executives thoroughly informed beneficiaries on all issues and also answered questions. They also provided detailed guidelines and examples on the use of the project management Mobility Tool.
Following, there were testimonials from successfully implemented KA2 projects, such as by Ms. Maria Katechis from the “Maria Tsakos” Public Benefit Foundation, Ms. Anastasia Benekos from the Democritus University of Thrace and Ms. Leda Stamou, Assistant Professor at the University of Macedonia, the Arts and Music department.
Finally, the participants had the opportunity to meet and discuss with IKY project managers.
