With the participation of about 120 executives from the European Programmes Offices in Higher Education Institutions, representation from the Special Account for Research Grants (SARG) and members of the academic community, the Erasmus+ Mobility Project Management Workshop for the higher education sector was successfully completed. It took place at «Divani Palace Acropolis» hotel in Athens, on Monday October 24th 2016.
Maria Nikitaki, Director of the Directorate for Special Programmes and International Scholarships, welcomed the participants and referred to their important role for the correct implementation of the Erasmus+ programme.
The conference was conducted with the innovative practice of ideas-workshops and dealt with all Mobility projects involving both Programme Countries (KA103) and Partner Countries (KA107).
Participants were organised in 12 groups discussing various issues (financial and administrative management, VISA and residence permits issues, recognition of the Erasmus+ mobility periods, use of the required electronic tools, dissemination of project results), aiming to detect problems, find ways to resolve them and to adopt best practices presented.
Additionally, IKY executives provided all the necessary clarifications concerning the optimum management of the projects and responded to questions.
