The European University Institute in Florence (www.eui.eu), a peer of Greek Higher Education Institutions, is an internationally renowned academic centre of studies and research, focusing on topics of European interest. The Greek State, a member of the EUI since the Convention Setting up the EUI (Article 17, Law 1628/1986), awards scholarships—pursuant to Article 2, Law 1698/1987 and within the framework of available appropriations—to Greek researchers admitted to EUI programmes.
In light of the above, IKY, the State Scholarships Foundation, offers two (2) scholarship programmes for a) doctoral studies and b) postdoctoral research and training, in fields relevant to the four departments of the EUI (History and Civilization, Political and Social Sciences, Law, Economics).
The programme is open to Greek citizens, holders of a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification, to pursue doctoral studies at the EUI in Florence, in the following fields: History and Civilization, Political and Social Sciences, Law, Economics.
