In a convivial and joyful atmosphere, the long-established New Year’s celebration event of IKY for 2024 was held on Thursday, 25 January 2024 with the participation of IKY executives and associates.
The Secretary General of Higher Education, Mr. Odysseas-Ioannis Zoras, the Head of the Directorate General for International and European Affairs, Education for Hellenic Diaspora and Intercultural Education, Mr. Panagiotis Passas, and other executives of the Ministry of Education honoured the event with their presence. The celebration was also attended by Mr. Philippe Grieu, Attaché for Scientific and University Cooperation of the French Embassy in Greece, Ms. Katerina Spyropoulou, Assistant to the Attaché for Scientific and University Cooperation of the French Embassy in Greece, Mr. Loukas Xenofontos, Educational Attaché of the Embassy of Cyprus in Athens, Mr. Spyros Chryssanthopoulos, Chairman of the National Organisation for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP), and Ms. Georgia Rempoutsika, Chief Executive Officer of EOPPEP, Ms. Katerina Fegarou, Education Marketing Manager of the British Council.
