TCA Cross sectoral Thematic Seminar “European shared strategies to put in place a coherent involvement of migrants, youth migrants, asylum seekers and refugees in Erasmus+” in Rome, Italy 15-17/05/2017
The State Scholarships Foundation (IKY), National Agency for the Erasmus+ programme in Greece for the fields of Education and Training, announces the possibility of applying for participation in a cross sectoral thematic seminar organised by the 3 Italian Erasmus+ National Agencies, in the context of Erasmus+ transnational Cooperation Activities / TCAs. The tree-day seminar will be held in Rome during May 15-17, 2017.
The seminar titled “European shared strategies to put in place a coherent involvement of migrants, youth migrants, asylum seekers and refugees in Erasmus+” has as its aim to share tools, practices and methods in order to promote networking among organisations interested in the Erasmus+ programme and to strengthen the value of social integration of migrants, youth migrants, asylum seekers and refugees.
The seminar is addressed to actors from the fields of School Education, Vocational Education and Training and Adult Eduction.
Priority will be given to organisations working with migrants, asylum seekers and refugees.

Erasmus+ Contact Seminar for Vocational Education and Training in Malta, 25-27/04/2017
The State Scholarships Foundation (IKY), National Agency for the Erasmus+ programme in Greece for the fields of Education and Training, announces the possibility of applying for participation in a seminar for finding contacts and possible partners. The seminar is organised by EUPA, Malta’s Erasmus+ National Agency, in Malta, in 25-27 April 2017, in the context of Erasmus+ transnational Cooperation Activities / TCAs.
The seminar is titled “Training on Capacity building in the implementation of VET (KA1) Erasmus+ projects” and its aim is the exchange of ideas and best practices between European institutions, active in the field of Vocational Education and Training, the improvement of the quality of projects in VET, increased networking and the development of future partnerships in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme.
The seminar targets vocational education and training bodies. It aims to promote and improve the quality of projects in VET sector and to enhance networking and the development of future partnerships in the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme.

The aim of the seminar, «Erasmus+ in the field of School Education», is the exchange of ideas between European stakeholders involved in the school education sector. Also, it will enhance networking and the development of future partnerships under the Erasmus+ programme.

Contact seminar for School Education, Erfurt, Germany 27 – 30.10.2016

IKY, the National Agency for Erasmus+ programme in Greece, announces the possibility to apply for participation in a contact seminar organised by Germany’s Erasmus+ National Agency, in Erfurt, during the period from 27 to 30 October 2016, in the context of Erasmus+ Transnational Cooperation Activities / TCAs.
The seminar, «School development in view of inclusion», is aimed at directors, deputy directors and teaching staff of School Primary and Secondary Education units (students age range: 6-16 years). It willenable participants to exchange ideas on issues of common interest, and proposals for Key Action 2 Strategic Partnerships. Participants will learn more about the Erasmus+ program in general, and more specifically for the Key Action 2 Strategic Partnerships. Additionally, they willbe informed about best practices and how to find partners and prepare applications.
The seminar focuses on the issue of inclusion and equal opportunities for access to school education systems. This topic is expected to lead to strategic partnerships relating to supporting people from disadvantaged backgrounds with fewer opportunities. Indicatively, and following the Paris Declaration, priority may be given to refugee integration, asylum seekers, migrants and persons belonging to minorities. Alternatively, partnerships that will result, mayconcern the support of students with learning difficulties.
In this context, priority will be given to actions such as:
- Addressing diversity in formal and informal education and training
- The development of social and intercultural skills, the development of active citizenship and media literacy
- Fighting discrimination and marginalization
- Tackling bullying
- Reducing inequality in learning outcomes among students from disadvantaged backgrounds through innovative and integrated approaches
- To facilitate the transition of students from disadvantaged backgrounds between different education and training levels and their transition from education / training to the labor market

IKY, the National Agency for Erasmus+ programme in Greece, announces the organisation of a contact seminar, held by Italy’s Erasmus+ National Agency in Palermo, during the period from 13 to October 15, 2016, in the context of Erasmus+ Transnational Cooperation Activities / TCAs.
The theme of the seminar is: «European cooperation to promote inter-generational and intercultural exchange in non-formal and formal contexts».
The seminar is designed for bodies active in the fields of formal and non-formal learning, second-chance schools, universities, public institutions, employment centres, social partners, socio-cultural associations. Also to adult education stakeholders representatives, aiming to contribute, through the Erasmus+ programme, to the development of new teaching methods for adults, such as teachers, educators, social workers and volunteers.
