The Erasmus+ Programme seeks to promote equal opportunities and access, inclusion, diversity and fairness across all the fields of education, training, youth and sport.

In particular, the Programme supports projects that promote social inclusion and aim at improving the outreach and the participation of people with fewer opportunities (e.g. people with disabilities, people with a migrant background, people living in remote areas, people facing socio-economic difficulties or any other potential source of discrimination based on sex, racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age or sexual orientation).

These projects propose solutions that address the barriers and the difficulties faced by these specific groups, so that equal access to the opportunities offered by the Programme is ensured for all. Such projects also contribute to creating inclusive learning environments that foster equal opportunities and that are responsive to the needs of the wider community.
