Greek schools among the laureates of the 2024 European Innovative Teaching Award!

The State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) would like to congratulate the following schools for creating an inclusive and innovative school environment through their participation in Erasmus+. More precisely, congratulations are extended to:

  • The 5th Kindergarten School of Thermi, “Scientific tools in Kindergarten for inclusive education”,
  • The 11th  Primary School of Piraeus, “From Thoughts to Codes”,
  • The Junior High School of Zipari, “Let’s know each other: Strategy for Equity Inclusion of Roma Students”,
  • The 1st Vocational Upper Secondary School of Orestiada, “Accredited project for mobility of learners and staff in vocational education and training”.

This year’s European Innovative Teaching Award event spotlighted – in its 4th edition – 96 innovative Erasmus+ projects promoting well-being and fostering healthy relationships at school from a total of 32 countries across Europe.

The awarded projects excelled for their innovative practices in four educational categories, namely:

  • Early childhood education and care
  • Primary education
  • Secondary education
  • Vocational Education and Training.
